I did not see it listed or I mssed it ,you could add Slingplayer2.0.2 to the list.
I installed it on may 8 and had it running until this morning with no problems.
The only issue I had was I could not get the download to work in FF but it downloaded fine in IE8.
    Download: SlingPlayer for Windows

    Yahoo Wigets

In my frustration to find some decent gadgets I went back to Yahoo widgets (once known as Konfabulator).
Well it runs seamlessly with a small memory footprint - and I got some nice slick widgets. After all this time far superior to the Windows Gadgets/sidebar stuff.
    Put it on the list!

I'd have to say that (regrettably) 7-zip is rather iffy. One of its strong points is the context menu availability but despite following the compatibility suggestions this aspect of the program is borked. The menu was there but nothing happened - 7-zip worked fine through its browser but really I don't want to go there!

Not had a single issue with 7-zip yet with Windows 7.

Vista Shortcut manager, web presence gone bye bye

    - the website and therefore all downloads from it are dead. I did find someone hosting it but stupidly didn't pay attention where it was - wait - I found it here.
Well worthwhile as those shortcut overlays are horrible - what purpose do they serve?

Just wanted to post my thanks to swarfega too - as you can see I've spent a bit of time here with my shiny new 7 installation and these recommendations have been a most useful guide :)

    Aimp2

Media Player, audio recorder, plays anything (codec neutral), configurable, skins, Winamp plugins, good media library. Tiny download, pretty good on memory.
I'm running the beta - seems stable, no issues except it doesn't like my library much - had to go to the actual storage location of my music.
    Russian home site
    Good player.
