    Belarc works but it doesn't recognize any antivirus program just like my health report doesn't. Must be something in Avast.

    According to the Microsoft solutions page updated today Kaspersky and AVG version 8 will both run on Windows 7 Beta.

    Hi

    I have Threatfire v4.0 free version running without a hitch on 7000 x86.

    You run it as well as your usual resident anti - nasty app. ( avast in my case )

    Only works on x86 at the moment - lets hope they make an x64 compatible version .

    Hi Shawn,

    I use Sumatra pdf reader. Works on every o/s I've tried it on. Completely free, no toolbars or nagging. It's tiny at 1.2mb and IMO better rendering than the Foxit. Extremely simple interface is a matter of taste , of course.

I scrolled down to the Macrium Reflect Free entry, clicked on the link, only to find it goes right to C/NET with no choice (at least I didn't see one) but to use their "agent" to download. I also tried Major Geeks and got the same "agent" trash. Does anyone know of a safe site to download...
I really like this free app. (but find the latest beta version works better in 7. There is a paid pro version that adds little that the free version doesn't have. The free version basically has everything most users would need. One thing I really like about it is by default it gives you more...
