    SourceSnap

I have a new freebie on Softpedia. This one is called SourceSnap. It's designed for programmers to snap up source code via clipboard but can also be used to grab any plain text.

It's not a complicated snippet manager application, but a simple easy to use hotkey app to snap up source code or text from web sites, or any app that can copy to clipboard.

Here's the Softpedia link. It was just put up this morning:

Some programs to add that do work well.

The main one to add: Comodo Firewall

the best and strongest software firewall available for any Windows home PC... AND its FREE!

Firewall and AntiVirus Free Software Download from Comodo

    A few more:

DVDShrink (I forget the exact version but I do know it is the latest since I just installed it today)
    DVDFabHD Decrypter 6
    WinDirStat
    SpaceMonger
Lexmark software for X4550 wireless network printer (Lexmark Imaging Studio)

Free, multi purpose multiprotocol IM client and social networking app to replace your ad filled Windows Live Messenger.
    Runs beautifully in Windows7.
In extremely active development, with very recent update claiming to halve the memory use.

I myself prefer the minimal types for these programs.... for that I use Pidgin which works very well with W7.

EDIT: I never liked CDburnerXP very well in years past but I figured I would give it a try again... in W7, it tried both an audio CD and a DVD and although they worked fine in Windows itself, they would not load/play in any players. So I installed it on Vista x64... same result... so I tried it on XP SP3... same result. Yet if I burn the same music and same movie using Nero, they burn properly and are read by the CD/DVD players.... so I would say if the disc is to be read on anything other than a computer, we need to find a better program.

    Hi Screwballl,

Yes, unfortunately not all will be add to the list for one issue or another. For example, Comodo is not quite bug free with Windows 7 yet.
