The isodisk program does NOT work for me in 64bit 7...sure it installs fine and you can open the program but if you try and mount an iso it will spew out an error about not being able to create device and needing to reboot. Tried rebooting several times, does not work. Removed and now looking for something else that may work.

Actually I just installed virtual clone drive by slysoft and it worked great. The virtual drive did not show up until after a reboot and said reboot kinda hung up for a minute but once back up I was able to mount an iso without issue as well install software to esta drive. (I have an express card in my laptop providing esata ports for an external data drive).

One more to add is LClock, It looks way better then the default one in the taskbar. I've got it going on build 7000 x86. It's been on for a few days now and runs just as well as on XP.

Fraqtive | Mandelbrot family fractal generator for making your own fractal wallpapers. Works in W7 32 bit beta.

Also http://bayden.com/SlickRun/ for command line lovers.

http://blog.codesector.com/2008/12/2...ightly-builds/ (TeraCopy 32 bit beta) seems to work. I don't have 64 bit OS to try the 64 bit version but I've been using the 32 bit versions for awhile in XP Vista and now 7. The cool thing is you can go into the Options.ini file and mess with the buffer size for various types of copy. On my machines a buffer the size of the HD hardware buffer seems to work pretty well.

So far I've tried my XMon and Tray utilities on 32 bit se7en and they work as expected. The se7en explorer icon on the new Taskbar has a "frequent" list but it still doesn't have a straight MRU of the last few folders opened. XMon handles that automagically. Hope somebody enjoys using it. It's free.

    Completely Working with no modifications:

    7zip ver. 4.57
    Avast Home (Free) ver. 4.8.1296
    Freeciv ver. 2.18
iTunes ver. 8 (both 32bit and 64bit versions work flawlessly)
    Microsoft Office 2007
    Firefox 3.0.4
    Nero 9.0.9.4
    OpenYatzee
    Picasa2
    SMplayer (my favorite video player)
Texas Holdem 3d Poker Deluxe Edition
TVersity (like Windows Media Player and iTunes on Steroids)
    Ultraiso 8.6.3.2056
    Yahoo! Messenger ver. 9.0.0.2112

Will only work on 32bit Version of Build 7000

Vista Codecs Pack ver. 4.62 (installs flawlessly on 32bit but fails at the very end resulting in a rollback on 64 bit)

Update to Vista Codecs Pack. It seems that Version 5.09 works flawlessly on both 32 & 64 bit versions of Build 7000....hooooray

Alright I can confirm that Auslogics Disk Defrag ver. 1.5.22.345 works flawlessly on Build 7000 x64.....hooray

Update: It installs as a 32bit app (Program Files (x86)) but when you run it it uses all cores of the processor in 64 bit mode.....lightning fast. It outright smokes Windows 7's defrag.

ATI/AMD has released Catalyst drivers for Windows 7. They are beta but appear to whoop the ones on Windows Update. You can get the newest ones here: AMD Customer Care

PS - They work perfectly on the 64bit version of Build 7000.

Photoshop CS3 is working perfectly on 64 bit Build 7000.

    Synergy 1.3.1

I confirm that Syngergy 1.3.1 works great for Windows 7.

    Synergy

About: Nifty little program that let's you use one mouse and keyboard to control more than one PC over TCP/IP. Neat for those who run a laptop next to your desktop.

Note: If you use wireless network, you have to enter the IP address.
