I recently started using a new (to me, at least) free audio player that I think is the best I've seen yet. It's called AIMP2 and the latest RC version is simply awesome, imo. AIMP2: Home Page
There are so many great features, it looks and sounds great, and it's so easy to use. Ability to customize the interface is unparalleled, ime. For example, you can set hot keys to do various things like adjust volume and also adjust the percentage amount that each key press will incrementally change the volume. I was using Foobar but this is my new fav. Looks better, has more features, and is easier to work with.
This thing has been tweaked and optimized even more than W7.

Another (new to me) free app that looks interesting is SuperCopier (an alternative to TeraCopy, which sadly has not seen much development of late). A new 7 (and x64) compatible version of SuperCopier was released last month. Haven't had a chance to fully test it yet but it looks interesting and I'm giving it a try.
Basically it's a file copy/transfer replacement that integrates with and replaces the native win explorer copy function. Supposed to be fast.
My favorite pdf viewer is PDF X-Change Viewer. Works with no problems on Windows 7 RC x64.
Edit: Just noticed this is already listed in the free 64-bit software thread. Sorry.
(Decided not to delete the post because the viewer is 32-bit/64-bit)

it's great
One note with the PDF-Exchange Viewer - It's the first and so far, only x64 PDF reader, I've found, to consistently render explorer thumbnail previews correctly
