I use InfraRecorder to burn CD/DVDs... and my personal preference is for the portable version - no install required:

I haven't seen anything on these yet and they are free.....
    MSI Afterburner
    RivaTuner v2.24c download from Guru3D.com
nVIDIA Geforce 480 470 285 260 9800 275 295 GT GTX AMD ATI Radeon HD 5870 5850 5770 4890 X2 - Guru of 3D: PC Hardware Reviews I don't know if you would want to just post a link to their site since they have a bit of freeware to download from the site. It's all very useful software.

    Toggle2 v. 1.0

This is one of my little Tray Apps. Toggle2. All it does is let you toggle the active window between 2 non-maximized sizes and positions.

You can see details and the download link on my page in this aritcle:

    Toggle2 v. 1.0 - DonationCoder.com

No donation is required. It's free for you to use at your own risk.
Of course if you are feeling generous, there's a command in the
    Tray Icon Menu.

I've been using Total Commander (website) for years. Technically, it's shareware, but aside from the initial screen, it is nag-free, and a wonderful replacement for Windows file manager system, search tool, multi-rename tool, built in FTP client, built-in support for creating and using archives (ZIP, ARJ, LZH, RAR, UC2, TAR, GZ, CAB, ACE), etc... a great little program that I recommend highly!
This program deserves its own thread. Many other things it can do, more than I will list here as it is OT. but def. great program.

Here is a program for remotely setting up tv recordings, it is called Remote Potato. Some of you might remember web4guide, which I love. Right now web4guide does not support w7. I will still try it and see how it functions. For now I am using Remote Potato
