You can add Hydrogen for the musicains, the installer for windows is still experimental but works great on my system:

Hydrogen is an advanced drum machine for GNU/Linux (and Windows). It's main goal is to bring professional yet simple and intuitive pattern-based drum programming.

I am amazed that I don't see VirtualBox on the list. Brink, you should really add it!

    VirtualBox
VirtualBox is a powerful x86 and AMD64/Intel64 virtualization product for enterprise as well as home use. Not only is VirtualBox an extremely feature rich, high performance product for enterprise customers, it is also the only professional solution that is freely available as Open Source Software under the terms of the GNU General Public License (GPL).

Presently, VirtualBox runs on Windows, Linux, Macintosh and OpenSolaris hosts and supports a large number of guest operating systems including but not limited to Windows (NT 4.0, 2000, XP, Server 2003, Vista, Windows 7), DOS/Windows 3.x, Linux (2.4 and 2.6), Solaris and OpenSolaris, and OpenBSD.

VirtualBox is being actively developed with frequent releases and has an ever growing list of features, supported guest operating systems and platforms it runs on. VirtualBox is a community effort backed by a dedicated company: everyone is encouraged to contribute while Sun ensures the product always meets professional quality criteria.

    Remote Desktop Manager

Okay, I guess I needed to ask politely...

Brink, can you please add Remote Desktop Manager to your list?

    RealWorld Cursor Editor
RealWorld Cursor Editor - make animated cursors

Allows you to make new windows mouse cursors, including animated ones. It can also be used to make transparent BMPs for windows start buttons instead of relying on Photoshop layers. Open the picture, draw alpha on it, save as a BMP.

Gotta tell you that Firefox has been consistently buggy for me on both my Vista and Win7 machines. It's great for most sites I work with, and I love the variety available for personalization. There are some sites, however, that just won't link out correctly, usually opening a 1x1.jpg of despair, or just crashing altogether. It also will occasionally leave a remnant running after exiting the program, which you have to terminate through task man, or a log off. Still, anything but MS, please .

    HxD
HxD - Freeware Hex Editor and Disk Editor | mh-nexus

The best freeware hex editor. Handles large files, can choose bit grouping, even allows you to display as ASCII, something a lot of windows hex editors fail to offer.

    NetworkActive WebServer 3.5
Home of NetworkActiv Web Server (NAWS)

A server program from 2005 that is far easier to set up than apache, works well, though is not being updated anymore.

    HD Parm
    Index of /hdparm

Practically required for laptops whose hard drives come with overly aggressive firmware power save settings. Allows you to turn up or down the hard drive's power save feature from max saving to completely turning it off. "HDPARM -B 255 hda" will disable power saving and stop the constant hard drive clicking when the drive is not being accessed. A linux program adapted to windows so it is CMD line only. Must be run every time windows is reset. Make a batch file and put it in startup to save time.
