The utility has set the Presets to check for Service before applying Tweak. There is also a button to re-set services to Windows Default Settings.
I can't believe that we don't have this in the list:
RAD Video Tools
I'm sure you've heard of Bink and Smacker before: game developers use Bink to compress movies and cutscenes of their video games. You know, those strange .bik video files that you just can't seem to open and watch
The list goes on and on
- Bink runs on every game platform and is customized to take advantage of each one. It uses SPUs on PS3, VMX on Xbox360, SSE 2 on x86, massive assembly optimizations on Nintendo DS, etc.
- Bink videos look amazing! Bink can scale its data rate from 1200 kps for 1280x720p videos down to 75 kps for Nintendo DS videos. Bink will always make the best possible video for your data rate.
- Bink is completely self-contained - it needs no special system software, it needs no other audio codec, it needs no other surrounding architecture. Just one small library and you are good to go - there are no external installation or dependencies.
- Bink has a VBR psycho-acoustic based audio codec capable up to 15:1 compression built-in. You don't need to license another codec for your audio.
So, its not just playback of those previously unreadable video clips in other media players! You can re-encode both audio and video from .bik (smacker videos as well) to .avi using any codec you have installed on the system with a simple but effective interface and a handful of very important and useful settings.
Foxit PDF reader and editor ...
v. small, nice to use, don't have to open the giant
Acrobat every time a PDF file turns up.
Get it here: Foxit Software - Foxit Reader 4.1 for Windows
I've used it now for some years, and like it.
Loaded it first onto XP Pro and now it on
Win 7 Pro.
