Issues with Adobe Flash 10.1 or latest NVIDIA 257.21 drivers or both?

I can't tell exactly which could be causing these issues as I updated my flash to 10.1 and my NVIDIA drivers to the latest 257.21 (upgrading from 197.45) at the same time, but I am now (coincidentally?) seeing the two following issues:

    1) When playing embedded flash videos in web pages, there is sometimes a green/garbled area on parts of the screen that I never noticed before

    2) In re-generating thumbnails of flv videos on my computer, various ones' thumbnail previews are a mostly (or totally) grey/garbled/snow-screen picture

Anyone else experiencing this or having similar issues with one or the other or both?

    Just curious.

I'd start by rolling back the video driver and simply rerunning what your were when you experienced the issue, if it goes away you have your answer and a simple fix, if not I'd see if there are posts discussing the 10.1 flash and how folks are dealing with it.

Yea, I figured I'd have to troubleshoot myself but wanted to throw a line out there in case anyone else had an immediate shared issue.

I also share the same issues but it is a bit different. When I tick enabled hardware acceleration, the video turns green and an error message pops up which says that display driver has stopped working and has recovered.

When I untick the hardware acceleration on flash, I get no errors. I also have the latest NVIDIA drivers installed as well. This problem has been bugging me since I updated Flash to 10.1!

I think this is an issue with Flash Player 10.1. My hardware is working correctly while all my drivers are up to date...........

After some troubleshooting, it turns out it was Flash 10.1 that was causing the grey blocks and green artifacts. I downgraded to Flash 10.0.* and all is well again.
