Their website is either broken or no longer updated. Well at least the project is not dead (which is what I thought for a long time).

What part of the site is broken exactly? I don't see anything wrong with it.

Well, for one thing the only announcement I see on the homepage is the release of 2.6.8 last year. No 2.6.9, and no announcement regarding the 2.7.0 dev branch that I remember seeing not too long ago. And then most of the pages on the dev website are missing.

    Hmmmm... I see version 2.6.10

I would love a free version of Adobe Photoshop. But until the second return of Christ...(whenever)...... Gimp, version 2.6.10 might have to do...

Ok... I am running Gimp 2.71 alpha on my tower.

It supports a one/single window program. but you have to click on that option each time you/I open it up. well it's alpha, right.

The one/single window will be great on a stable version, for sure.
