Will K Lite codec pack work with 64 bit Media Player Classic?

I have installed 64bit Media Player Classic and I have just downloaded K Lite codec pack. When installing the codec pack, I noticed it was for x86 and not 64bit.

1.) Does this mean K Lite is useless with MPC?

2.) Do I have to install the x86 MPC to use the x86 K Lite codec?

3.) Does a 64bit version of K Lite codec exist and would that be a better solution?

Maybe I should just install MPC 32bit and the 32bit K Lite codecs?

    Look here:

    Download K-Lite Codec Pack

where it offers a 64 bit package and states:

For use on 64-bit versions of Windows.

For an optimal user experience it is highly recommended to also install one of the 32-bit variants from above, because most software that runs on 64-bit versions of Windows is still 32-bit.

Windows Vista x64 and Windows 7 x64 use a 32-bit version of Windows Media Player by default. Windows Media Center and Windows Explorer are 64-bit applications. That is why you need both 32-bit and 64-bit codecs.

There is a 64 bit codec pack as well, not as many codecs:

    64 Bit Codec Pack
