Convince Me - Window Blinds 7

Well, I've been thinking of getting Window Blinds 7 for a while, so I just need someone to convince me with some amazing - unique themes. What is so great about WB?

    Please post skins.

    Thanks.

As I doubt anyone here works for Windows Blinds you need to find out for yourself. Not up to anyone here to convince you.

WindowBlinds is a commercial application that packages the same kind of effects that can be done manually by importing themes, but it does it in a collection of products that don't require you to patch anything.

I have been a user of WB for years, and participated in the beta testing of the most recent version -- and have decided to NOT use it anymore because of problems I discovered during the beta testing that would crash my PC, lack of upgrade of legacy blinds that I really liked with XP, and the fact that I can get much the same effect on Win7 (especially my non-Aero capable Tablet PC) by using themes obtained from DeviantArt.

You should visit the StarDock site and see what they offer. You will have to decide whether or not it is worth the money -- to you.

It's going to eat RAM and slow down start-up time IF you have less than 2GB RAM

With Windows7 and Vista there is absolutely no reason whatsoever to spend money on Window Blinds , that is if you know how to patch your system . Just by patching a few dll files you can simply drag and drop themes into your C:\Windows\Resources\Themes folder and install them by right clicking on your desktop and selecting "personalization" ....... No reason for Window Blinds!

It's not like I don't like Window Blinds .... I do , even though it is a little heavy on systems , the way I described above you can install themes without the weight of yet another program running in your tray .

Some of the best themes I have found are located at Virtual Customs - Home
There are also some great tutorials there to get you through the installs .
