LAN Voice chat

Hi, is there any free voice over LAN / internet too possibly, software out there for Windows 7?

I did download Mumble, but could not get the Mumur server work.

Windows 7 Home Premium x64

Several different instant messaging clients, including Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, and Trillian Astra, support free voice and video calls over the Internet. That is what I use, as I find it simpler than having to set up some kind of server on my own network.
