Situtation: I have one hard drive in my laptop, split into a C: partition for my Win7 installation, and D: partition for my files and documents. Used Partition Magic without thinking; ignored compatibility warnings like a fool, etc etc.
My D: partition disappeared, C: seems to work fine.

Hope I am posting in right forum. Is it possible to use partition magic 8.05 with windows 7 ultimate? I want to partition my drive, I did not do it at the time of installing windows.
Thanks in advance to your reply.
with a view to resize my patitions i download powerquest partition magic software8.0.but when i begin start this software a messege appers like "partition magic8.0 is incompetable with this windows vertion" and it does not work any more.
What can i do?
My new laptop is coming soon with Windows 7 Home Premium preinstalled. Until now I have used Partition Magic version 8 to divide my HD into system and data partitions for easier backups in XP. Anyone know if PM 8 will work safely in W 7 or will I need to upgrade it?
Any built-in utilities to do...
