I managed to get it working under Windows 7 by setting not just the MagicTune.exe's compatibility to Windows Vista (which didn't work), but doing it for all the exe files in the MagicTune folder.

Thanks, vaelyn, that worked for me too! A useful tip.
Hi Guys, I am able to get the magic tune run on Windows Server 2008 R2 now, I think it should also work on Windows 7 x64 edition.
Click the shortcut to MagicTune.exe will do nothing, It just like told you that you need to restart your computer to use it.
What you need to do are: (Administrator privillege is not a must)
1. Run the MagicTuneEngine.exe in the same directory with Vista Compatibility mode set. It will told you the \Magictune.exe\MagicTune.exe does not exist, but never mind. You should be able see MagicTuneEngine.exe is already in your process list.
2. Run MagicTune.exe again with Vista Compatibility mode.
3. Enjoy.
This software is only intend to adjust the LCD monitor settings, so it has nothing to do with your video card.
Guys; I just found a win7 magictune:
SAMSUNG learning resource - download
I'm downloading now. Have not tried yet.
Magic Tune is great, when it works. It allows you to set up the monitor, settings that are normally done with buttons on the monitor itself. There is no OS of graphics driver that can access these settings.
There are Windows 7 x64 and x32 versions here:

I have the x64 version installed in Windows 7 x64, everything works fine. It sure is better than using the buttons on the side of the monitor.

Yeah I couldn't get that to work for me so I gave up. I don't think it's really that necessary, my monitor looked great out the box.
Guys: windows 7 version of magic tune is available: www.samsung.com/us/consumer/learningresources/monitor/magetune/pop_download.html
I installed it. But I have a doubt, I yet have to do a comparison with sevens own color calibration (C:\Windows\System32\dccw.exe), wich I used till yesterday. It's quite good.
64bit version, doesn't work for me. The 32bit version for win7 does work.
Thanks, ElQuia and oldspook. The 64-bit Win7 version runs fine on my system but some of the functions are shown as "Not available". Same goes for the 32-bit version.
