    VLC 1.1.1 hose everything?

Hmmmmmm, I tried updating to VLC 1.1.1 that was just released. Totally hosed my VLC. I even undid the change with a restore point, trying to go back to 1.1.0. No dice. No matter which one I run, if I touch a menu after a movie is loaded, it disappears!! It's totally unusable now. Really weird.

I tried uninstalling again, removing 1.1.0 and cleaning the registry, then reinstalling 1.1.0. Touch it, and it goes bye bye. I don't know what they did but it broke my install big time!!

Figures just as they were getting PGS and XSUB subtitle support it all goes South.

I even uninstalled 1.1.0 cleaned and reinstalled, and it won't work. The machine must be sullen or something. On my Vista64 I haven't touched it and it(v. 1.1.0) works fine. Only difference is I think on Vista64 I get hw acceleration. Guess I'll wait for 1.1.2 and see what happens then. Seems like with these builds that support PGS subs, they do something wrong and the player disappears as soon as you touch it. It never did that before with the 1.05 and earlier versions. I feel like I'm back on Win95. You move a program window and the program just craps out. :)
