Fresh install of windows 7, only the LAN is detected/installed

    * Audio - Windows Update seems to be able to pick up the audio driver.

    * Finger Print Scanner - Again windows update seems to work for

    * Wi-Fi - Fujitsu Official Drivers for the wireless card works (the vista one of course)

    * Video - I can't get video to work though. as 1024x768 is the native res of the laptop screen, I didn't notice it until I plug it in to my monitor...
Checking device manager, its only showing "standard VGA"... I tried the new Intel Graphics Accelerator Drivers Win7 RC, but I get an error that says: "System does not meet minimal hardware requirement."

Anyone got video working? It'd be good to use more than 1024 x 768 on a 14" screen...

I am actually helping a friend with a Fujitsu S7110 installing windows 7...

For the S7110, although audio doesn't work straight out-of-the-box from the installation,
it works fine after performing an windows update.

Sorry if I made it confusing.

Are you on 64 or 32bit?

    Windows 7 ultimate?

    32 bit drivers you need - http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Deta...=2301&lang=eng

    64bit drivers you need - http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Deta...17804&lang=eng

    i used the 32bit version.
everything works after one windows update, except for the card reader and the video driver...

same error for my DELL INSPIRON 700M as well asl the FUJITSU S7110, both system gave the same error when i tried to install the win7 rc drivers...:

    """
computer does not meet minimum requirements for installing the software.
    setup will exit
    """

I recently installed Windows 7 on an S7110 and I still cannot get audio to work on the built-in speakers.

I am currently using the Microsoft High Definition Audio driver and this makes it possible for me to use external speakers and microphone using the 3.5mm plugs on the side of the computer.

If I plug in headphones these appear under playback devices, but the internal speakers do not ever appear.

On board sound is a Realtek ALC262 and if I install the latest drivers (from October 2009) the speakers appear under playback devices, but I still cannot get any sound. At low volume settings I get static, but that's it.

Has anyone been able to find a solution to this problem?

I have a Fujitsu Lifebook E8110 with the same problem... no sound on Win 7. I have tried the Vista drivers from Fujitsu and also the latest Win 7 drivers straight from Realtek, with no luck.
I have a post on the Fujitsu forums too... I will post here if I get it resolved... or I should say WHEN, because my wife will be pissed if her sound doesn't work on her laptop that I abruptly upgraded. :)

    Happy hunting!

Can someone please help me with this? I have installed Win7 Pro on my s7110 and I can't get the fingerprint sensor to work. I downloaded the vista drivers off the fujitsu site but I cannot install the authentication software. I get an error that OS is not supported. I've done all win updates and still nothing. Which driver are you guys using and where can I get it?
