    Realtek AC'97 issues

Hi i only just installed the new evaluation copy of windows 7 the other week and i seem to have some issues with my sound... its onboard Realtek sound and whenever i try too install the latest drivers, they install fine... but once i restart my computer so they will take effect i start getting the blue screen of death.. so i have to go into the BIOS and turn off my sound all together.

My motherboard CD which has the older version of the drivers.. does not run in my machine, gives me a error about not supporting this MS or something along those lines... i tried going into the cd and manually installing the drives but it still gave me the blue screen...

i have not tried using the HD audio drivers or the XP driver version... if these have helped anybody else with this issue please tell me

    -thanks
