I would say not to as I don't want to mess your system up.
Download the file then reboot and get back to us.
I am puzzled as to how those files got there to begin with.

I installed the driver. The computer would not boot, so I rolled the old driver back. Now I am back where I started. Hope I dont have to RMA this mobo. Thanks for the help.

Thanks for your support. I have installed the latest Windows updates, to no avail. While reading the posts, I see some talk about a SPDIF cable and audio. I have a Nvidia GTS 250 video card. A very small 2 wire cable came with it. Should I install this cable and see what happens?

Hey! It's working. Somewhere along the line I got the speakers plugged into the "in" port instead of the "out" port. I know it wasnt like that all along, probably did it this morning. So I dont know if the Windows updates I installed this morning fixed it for sure. They probably did, because it wasnt working last night when I quit. I feel really stupid, but I am sure I would not have gotten it fixed without your help and support. Thanks.
