    Help with sound!

Okay, so yesterday, my mic wasn't working but I know it's built in, so I was messing with the audio settings.

Today, I plugged in my head phones, and no sound comes out of my speakers or my headphones anymore. I went to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Manage Audio Devices... and now everytime I try to click on the sound, it freezes. Please help.

    Welcome!

Check in Device Manager (devmgmt.msc into the start menu), in the Sound, video and game controllers section. Right-click on your card, and could you please post a screenshot of your General and Driver tabs?

Also, could you please upload your msinfo32 file?

Enter msinfo32.exeinto the start menu, and press enter. Go to File>Save, and save a copy on your desktop. Right-click on it, and select Send to>New compressed folder. Then attach the file to your next post.

I got it fixed, actually. Thank you, though! I had disabled something that made it not work.

Thanks for the report, glad it's working now.

What was the setting, out of curiosity?

I had something disabled that I didn't need to have disabled, haha.
