built in speakers / headphone issues

    When I have my 'Default Device' set to Speakers and Dual Headphones, I only get sound from my built in speakers, even when I have headphones plugged in. <<<<< This is what u typed in the beginning.


    So they ARE working. And the way i told you above should make them work when your headphones is NOT plugged in. Then when u plug in your headphones...the sound should come from your phones...NOT the laptop at the same time. Let me know how it goes.

    Im having the same problem as you and as of yet I haven't found a solution ive tried every solution that has been offered and ive thought of with no change all that's left is reinstalling the OS but that's not worth it so I just leave the headphones plugged in but it was the recent Realtek update that messed it up.
