    Audio plus more

OS: Windows 7 Pro 64 bit

I created a standard user account, because I don't want to use my Admin account all the time. However, after moving over into the standard user account-- I have ran into several annoying problems.

Problem 1 - Winamp / media player etc will not play back audio. Both produce permission errors about not being able to access the sound device.

Problem 2 - I cannot even personalize the desktop of the standard user account! Whenever I try to access that area I get a explorer error message that says something like "blah blah, You have inappropriate permissions to access the file blah blah"

Is there any way to resolve these issues? Or do I have to use the Admin account all the time?

You don't have to use it all the time, you just need to set up permissions for a standard user account through an administrator account.

Yes, but getting the account to work is proving to be very problematic.

I can hear all the normal system sounds etc, but the second I try to play a audio back, say through winamp or media player-- BAM! it gives me a error message saying "you don't have permission to access the audio driver(s.)"

Similar situation for the explorer.exe, as the shell loads normal, aero is all there n well. But on trying to personalize the theme-- it says that I don't have permission to access explorer.exe?!

Explorer.exe is running fine, so I really do not understand that error.

I even tried disabling UAC and resetting, no luck-- same error.
