Age of Empire 3 No Audio

Hi folks I need help. I installed AoE3 in my computer but when I restart, Windows Audio service won't run and all programs that checks system specs can't run. My Computer (the desktop shortcut) keeps on saying:
"There is not enough free memory to run this program. Exit one or more programs, and then try again.
But if I right click and select Open then it opens normally. What should I do?

    Extra info:
Attempt to start Audio Service error:
    Package ID:AudioPlaybackDiagnostic
    Error code:0x8007000E
    Source:Engine
Network icon keeps on showing not connected even when I am connected to a wireless network.

I would repost this in the gaming section and see what the gamers say. Although the audio is affected, I suspect it has to do with the installed game and how it configured or reconfigured the PC. Probably if you uninstall the game and/or use System Restore and restore the PC back to a date PRIOR to installing the game everything else will work properly.

    Already tried

Already tried uninstalling AoE III to no avail. Haven't tried system restore though. BTW, audio works in Ubuntu 9.10 fine.

Can you run System Restore in Safe Mode?

You can also try a Startup Repair see THIS
