    Good People,
    This is Microsoft approach to solving this problem and, in my opinion, written by someone who has never been in the trenches. Despite all that, the procedure is a start and will solve many problems.

    Greg,
    I agree with you. That's also my starting suggestion for those with sound problems. The article mentions driver update but that's the last thing they talk about whereas I think that's where one should start.
