No voice from the monitor straight

Hi, I have problems with no sound. At the beginning I installed the software Win7 some years ago, everything worked well was the sound and well played. A few months after he disappeared. Recently I took in for repair, because sound patterns began to hide. After repair, I turned kompa and still have no voice, of course, the reins are all installed. I do not want to install the reins once again. And I see the bar on the right is the proclaimed at 100% and play well. The socket is connected to the green. But there is no voice. What should I do?
I am counting on your help, I do not know where to start ...

    hi Bronka, welcome to sevenforums,

    does your monitor have speakers?

have you tried using different speakers or headphones - do they work?

Hey, the monitor has built in speakers. But there is no voice and that means not playing music. I have not tried a different speaker, or I do not have headphones.

maybe the problem is your monitor speakers, maybe it is your computer.

if you could borrow some headphones or speakers, and if they work, then we know the problem is not the computer.

one more question, the monitor has a volume control too?

I'm trying to borrow someone handset. So has the volume control, just pawned the speakers of the monitor is probably burned. Because all the time listening to music and movies, yes. I think you need to go back to repair monitors.

I can share my experience with my HDMI monitor's speakers:

    1. ATI + Realtek Sound
    2. HDMI connected
    3. Had to install these 3 drivers to hear sound:

    1) ATI HDMI audio - a part of Catalyst
    2) Realtek ATI HDMI Audio Device
    3) Realtek Windows 7 Driver

    4. Realtek HD Control Panel -> HDMI tab -> Set default device

I connected the old jack-in speakers (except the monitor) and it is no longer sound. So now is definitely the monitor speakers is blown. I thank those who helped. Close.
