Window 7 audio not working please help !!

    Is the noise only present when you are trying to play a sound, or is it there all the time regardless? Have you tried an alternative set of speakers?

    well the website recommend this in the help page and its the only thing i can find that resembles the software
    1.2.1 Un-install all the drivers related to the audio device,firstly, please install the patch
    "MICROSOFT UAA Function Driver for High Definition Audio" for the OS

    the sound is on all the time. Yes i have tried other set of speakers/headphones still no good

    1.2There is yellow exclamation mark before the audio device in Device Manager

    1.2.1 Un-install all the drivers related to the audio device,firstly, please install the patch
    "MICROSOFT UAA Function Driver for High Definition Audio" for the OS


    does this show up in device manager?

    how do you turn audio device on in windows cause it says its off
