Automatic turning off sounds

Hello, after install win 7 rc (b7100), sounds on my notebook (hp compaq 8510p) are automaticly turning off after a few secounds of inactive. When I play some sound, it automaticly turn on, but it takes about 3-5 sec. I don't know, how can I change it back as in win 7 beta (b7000).
For every ideas I thank you.

Windows 7 Build 7600 x64

Hi, same issue here with HP 8710w. I use Build 7600RTM. Most other drivers / services / software for these laptops have not been released aswell, so i think we have to wait till HP services the W7 drivers as of the 22nd of October as stated on their website.

turning off automatic installation of drivers?
I'm having some problems with my current wireless drivers and i wanted to try another version, but Windows 7 keeps installing the one it finds on it's own. when i try to update it, it says that it already installed the most suitable driver. Anyway to get around this?
Turning Off Automatic Driver Search
So I turned the automatic driver search on for a minute to find drivers for my printer on the internet, but now I can't find the options menu to turn off the automatic driver search. Where do I find these options?
