CD Ripping
When I was using Win XP before, I used to put a CD in the drive and I would get a message box up asking me what I wanted to do with the files. If it was a music CD I would get typical options something like "Rip to hard disk using Windows Media Player" and "Rip to disk using dbPowerAmp". Now with Win 7 I get.........nothing!
I've lost the dbPowerAmp ripper but do have WMP installed. I've just downloaded and installed another free CD ripper program. I get it to work by putting the CD in the drive and firing up the new software and click on "Rip CD" when it finds it in the drive. So, how do I get Win 7 to recognise I have put a CD in the drive and get the before mentioned options offered?
Thanking you guys in advance.
PS: Although the software I'm using "Express Rip" (free home version) rips OK it comes up with all the wrong content information - but that could be due to the cheap CDs I'm using in the UK and prog. searches US databases. I haven't tried it on a proper music CD yet.
