    no speakers or headphones are plugged in


    OMG!!! I just installed windows 7 and I cant hear nothing, I have this problem
    "no speakers or headphones are plugged in"
    I tried 1000000 type of drivers, and nothing
    I wonder what is the problem???
    I never had this probleem with my old vista
    Help???

    Babo welcome to SF,
    Have you looked to see if your device manager under sounds to see if your sound card drivers are loaded and updated?

    When I u try to update it, windows 7 says, theres no more advanced update, like if I have all updated...

    btw this is my sound card
    ATI Radeon HDMI @ ATI RV710/730/740 - High Definition Audio Controller

    Go to AMD and get the drivers for your sound card and make sure they are for Windows 7

    Driver max helped me to find a driver for AMD, for my sound card
    but nothing
    probleme exists

    babo, Which version of Windows Seven are you running and what bit version 32 or 64? Completing the spec's helps us tons !

    Please try this ATI site download and plug in your info and report back, this may take a reboot to install?

    that program u sent me was driver detective, I run the scan and i have some problems, what do u mean that I have to do
