    Audio Stuttering

I'm using the headset Steelseries HV2, just today the audio started stuttering, and it's getting really annoying.
I've followed the sticky thread, toupdate my drivers.. no luck.

Any help would be great appreciated, thanks!

I don't know if this will work but try unplugging your headphones, give the headset port on your computer the old nitendo blow. Then, before you plug your headphones back in again, unistall the headphones driver. ( Go to start | go to the Control Panel | Go to the option hardware and devices | then click on the device mananger | find your headphone software or the device on the list | right clik it then uninstall | restart your computer | plug your headphones in again and see if that works. ( If there is no driver for your headphone then this may not work it's worth a shot!)

Alright, I'm starting to have serious issues now.
The stuttering sound have become more of a stuttering CPU now.
Out of nowhere, my CPU Usage have became 80% and it's lagging like hell.
After I start up my computer, the computer is insanely laggy for like 5minutes, then it's atleast useable.
I've tried what U told me to try, jhansen, didn't work.

    Please, help me.

Have you checked in Task Manager which processes use the CPU - but make sure you click the button "Show processes for all users".
It may also be helpful to have a look into the Reliability Monitor at: Control Panel\System and Security\Action Center\Reliability Monitor. Double click on the red markers to get the details.

Task Manager looks OK, nothing unusual there.
Reliability Monitor - Since I just reformated my computer, to see if that worked.. which it didn't.. it's calculating something, so I'll have to wait a few hours and wait.

Is there anything else I can do in meanwhile?

What do you mean "nothing" in task manager. If the system is spinning at 80%, some processes must be heavily involved.

    Tha'ts what I thought too
CPU on Firefox, Steam, MSN or anything is 00, and the Memory varies from 10k-80k (which is normal).
And yet the CPU Usage is insane, however now it's down to 2-5% .
It keeps going up and down,

Did your computer just start running slow when you plugged your headphones in?
