Windows 7 ultimate not detecting SB live! Soundcard

    Users never had any luck, as reported on the Dell forum. The card is coded as a "Dell" and not "SoundBlaster" so when they used the Soundblaster drivers it would report no Creative/SoundBlaster product found. The later Audigy 2ZS Dell model does work OK with the retail Soundblaster drivers.

    Mine must have been an oddball then as all I ever used on it was the drivers from Creative (still have it sitting in an old parts box).
