I hope this will help you. Try to fix the WMP with the troubleshoot guide.

As this is USB, it could have something to do with what else is on the USB bus.

The motherboard has RealTek audio, is this disabled? If not, disable it and see if that changes anything.

Also, try using the RealTek with the NI disconnected and see if you get the intermittent problem.

    I have a recording studio, using Sonar X2 and a Roland Octa-Capture.

well i i digg this a little more.. and found out that NI Audio kontrol gives me errors in system performance test:
''Audio performance problems detected. This is most likely caused by your computer configuration. This computer is most likely not suitable for realtime Audio.''

also i download latencymon and DPC: and having this results.. all i can say is tha t i have the latest Bios try to disable the ethernet card but still the same..or before that inputdirector..also i disable onboard realtek..nothing changed..
i thought this of using the onboard realtek..and disable the NI but i notice those above...: sick:

With NI Audio Kontrol causing errors in performance tests, this is another reason to disconnect it and enable the RealTek audio, for testing. That may not be the problem but you have to eliminate the NI Audio Kontrol as the problem before going further.
