Is stereo mix shown in the recording tab?

Is it checked and shown as the "default device"?

What version of Realtek do you show in Device Manager?

What Realtek driver are you using and where did you get it?

    What is your recording application?

Look at your motherboard manual. Do you have Realtek ALC 889? ALC 892? or ???

You say stereo mix does not "work". What do mean exactly? Normally, people use it to record what they are listening to. So I asked which application you use to record?

Where did you get that driver you listed and why did you choose that particular driver?

Here is a pic from my Device Manager showing my Realtek Driver info. Is that location where you got your driver number from?

    What motherboard are you using?
