    KX Audio Drivers [emu10k1]

Should be pinned somewhere, but everyone asks why the 64bit EMU10K1 drivers don't work is because they were DISCONTINUED!!!
Would be nice if you would stop spamming that Kx link in every thread that someone asks about an Audigy SE as that card (as well as anything else that is based on the SB Live 24 bit) is not supported by the Kx driver,

as none of them have the EMU10K1/2 chip on them.

if creative are supporting the audigy2 fully in win7 then I may swapout my xifi and put the audigy2 back in.

I dunno why, but I have always felt my audigy2 gave better audio quality then my xifi and that the audigy2 software was less buggy.

If that X-Fi of yours is the Xtreme Audio, then the Audigy 2 is the better card.

Well partly i do agree xD

I do agree its a nightmare to install and make it acctually work on Windows7. But then again i want full sound to work not this i have atm.

I want all consoles such as EQ, EAX and such to work ofc. Its what i paied for but atm there is no properly working Creative driver for this card. Only thing that worked for me was P17X and that was made by a man that creative spit on and threatened not so long ago.

Anyone tried to mode the drivers so EAX and such work ?

I am using that unofficial driver pack some guy made on the creative forums, works pretty well using alchemy etc. Sound is far superior to what it was in XP. Not bad considering the card was designed for XP.

    here

SB X-Fi Series Support Pack 2.0 (05/15/2009) - Creative Labs

I ran the installer, it installs all the features. I am using the driver in that pack as well.
