How the HDMI Audio works from my GTX 560TI to my Asus HD Screen(MS228)

    Hey Guys

I have a Gigabyte Nvidia GTX560 TI Graphics card connected via HDMI to my Asus Screen.

On the back of the screen there is an HDMI Audio out port. (No speakers part of the screen)

How do I get the HDMI Audio play through earphones? And can I in turn connect this through my computer as i do have wireless USB earphones. (Which obviously won't work from the screen port :) )

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have been trying to figure this out for some time.

    Specifications:

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
    Processor: i5 760
    Graphics: Gigabyte GTX 560 TI
Screen: Asus HD MS 228 21.5" LED LCD Monitor
    Ram: 4GB DDR3

    THANKS!! :)

Rayzr welcome to the Seven Forums.

With a USB headset you would be better off forgetting about HDMI and just plugging it into the computer. You have to remember that a USB headset or speakers is treated as a separate sound card and has and uses its own driver.

Thanks Stormy13 :). I know its kinda pointless, but i just don't like the screen beating me, ha ha. Just wanted to use the full functionality of the screen, but i suppose you are right, sorta digging for no reason :). (I prefer my earphones anyway).
