How do you turn off all sound effects?

    How do you turn off all sound effects?


    When I change the sound and do a few other things I hear this confirmation like sound effect.....How do I turn this off?

    When you say "change the sound" do you mean the following...

    Right-click the desktop and select Personalization then click Sounds and change the Sound Scheme to none.

    It could be that certain 3rd party software has built in sounds that you would have to change via the application options menu.

    No you had it right the first time. I tested all the sounds to match the one that was bothering me. It turned out to be windows Default Beep.
