    Sound Scheme Changes

Running Windows 7 Pro I have created a sound scheme, named it and saved it. However, after every 2 or 3 boot-ups it reverts to the Windows Default scheme. How do I keep my scheme constant without Windows Default taking over? Thanks.

After naming my scheme I clicked on "Save As". When it reverts to Windows Default I just go into SOUND and click my choice, apply and OK. It just doesn't stay that way.

    Hello Indian,

Yes, you saved your Sound scheme in Sounds, but did you also save your Theme afterwards in Personalization as Jerry had linked to in his post above?

Thanks Brink. I have my scheme saved both in sound and persomnalization. I hope this keeps the scheme in place. Might I ask that you look at a previous post of mine under Customization, Unable to change Wecome Screen Photo/Icon. Possibly you could solve this problem for me. Thanks.

Hey Brink, I notice that when I'm on the Personalization screen and change the desktop background the sound scheme reverts to Windows Default. At least I know what is causing the change.
