    Logitech Z 5500 DD fail...

    Hi everybody.

I recently changed from Vista to Windows 7. I am thinking about changing back because...

I have a problem getting my Logitech Z 5500 Digital to play dolby digital...

In some programs I can change the audio output and it works but I want the speaker set to play dolby digital all the time... Like it did for me in Vista.

How can I FORCE windows 7 to transmit the audio in that format?

    Love
    Homus

Edit 1: Been looking around... I am on optical cabel

Windows 7 uses the same drivers and sound handling as Vista. If it worked on Vista, it means something was not installed or not installed correctly in Windows 7.

You did not fill in the System Specs so we can't comment on your hardware.
