Audio Cracks when browsing internet and watching video.

    Hello,

I've used DPC Latency check and it looks like this:

The red bars occur when I click on various tabs upon my browser, they also occur when just moving my mouse as well.

I've tried unplugging USB devices but it does not seem to do anything.

    My specs are as follows:

    Windows 7 Ultimate
    4GB G.Skill RAM
    Radeon HD 3870
    AMD Dual-Core 5600+ Processor

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

DPC latency checker checks driver. you obviously have one that is mis behaving (perhaps networking or video). It is simply a process of elimination re-install and/or disable the suspect ones. Any reason you ran DPC besides this?

I looked online for solutions on my cracking audio. (audio cracks with every red bar) I only found to use the DPC latency to find out what is wrong.

The only reason I ran DPC Latency check is to try to figure out what is causing my audio cracking

[Just updated video driver, still no fix]

You mentioned the video driver, what about the audio driver?
    Has it been updated?

Yes, I actually just did that. Still no fix):

Audio only cracks when playing music and watching videos. Also cracks with connected earphones.

Try muting or disabling system sounds in the volume mixer.

I used to have this problem on winXP and that solved it for me.
