    Sound Problems

I have an IMEDIA D2315 AIO and recently upgraded from the vista o/s that came with the comp to windows 7 ultimate.
I now have no sound coming from the built in speakers in my monitor (Viseo 191ws). Packard bell download site is complete double dutch, i cant understand it at all. Plus i dont see anything to do with my computer.
I have been into device manager and under sound tab all i see is High Def Audio Device. I can get sound if i plug speakers into the tower unit, but was sure i had sound from the built in monitor speakers.
Any idea what i am doing wrong Please?

Does the Speakers on the Monitor have a AMP. If not there may be your problem. Try turning your Volume Right Up and see if you get anything. If your sound works on other speakers then its your Monitor, maybe you have pulled a wire out, there are many many options here.

im willing to bet you have a realtek sound card. go back to control panel and ignore the sound tab and look for realtek audio sound manager or something like that,i cant remember the correct wording ,im on lappy atm and cant get to desktop for exact title.
