    Sound laggin/jittering running cubase


    all i have is the built sound card and when im runnin cubase and try to play a lot of sounds at once the sound jitters and lags.

    this is just because of my sound card right??? or is it? my first guess anyway.

    I dont think its a ram issue, i have 3g installed.

    can anyone suggest a good sound card or at least a site to but from?

    I have a Sonar (X1) studio.

    The built in sound card is not really very good for recording. Best suggestion, other than PC hardware limitations is to have a separate recording hardware interface.

Hi, I am new to the forum. I did a search for jittering cursor but did not find and threads relevant to the problem unless I looked in the wrong place. As I was working this morning, my cursor slowly began to wander just a bit. I thought it might have been dirty and cleaned it (optical mouse)....
I use ASIO drivers with cubase and Reason.my windows sound is working properly.but when i open cubase or reason i cant play any sound with windows media player.please help me.....
