Audio and Video lag while watching movie

Hi i was watching a tv show today and in the midle of the season the episodes started to lag and the sound stopped randomly while watching them. I checked the episodes i watched earlier and the sound dissapeard again in about ten minutes of the episode, so i checked if i had a problem with other movies and its the same
I havo no idea why would this happen, earlier today it was fine and i haven't installed anything or done anything else with my computer. I apologize for my bad english.

If you're watching these shows from a site such as Youtube, then it could simply be the video buffering. When you click on the link for the video, pause it and wait for a few minutes - then try playing it.

Try right clicking the video, then click Settings. Then uncheck the box beside "Enable Hardware Acceleration" and then click close - this can sometimes rectify the issue.

Install VLC and see if you experience the same problem.

Is there a lot of HD activity at the time it started?
It could be your AV performing a full scan or Windows running a routine Defrag pass.
This could cause some of the issues you are experiencing temporarily, especially if the drive is very busy.

If you do not know how to tell, simply look if your HD light is on showing a lot of activity. if it is not now, try the videos again.

Assuming all was working properly before and just started all of the sudden, this would be my first thing to check.
