    When played back through what?

I'd expect they would sound about equally bad over the typical set of PC or gaming speakers.

I would go with the device designed for the job. In this case, the Numark compared to the Xfi sound card.

(I am a musician and have a recording studio).

Someone said that Numark is not recommended if i wanna go ( maybe in the future ) for 5.1 or 7.1
    Is that right ?
I thought maybe is better to sell both soundcards, and get a better one.

You are now talking about a different application than your original question which was a device for MAudio stereo speakers. You are not asking about 5.1 or 7.1. That application is totally different.

Yes, i know. I thought maybe in the future i go for 5.1 or 7.1 but for now i stay with M Audio.
I was adviced to sell the Numark, some people say to keep Numark. I dont know how to proceed.
And i have no idea if USB is better than PCI. Excepting the fact that i can use the Numark for laptops ( thats not gonna happent ) is there any real advantage between PCI vs USB ?

It all depends on what you want to use it for. For just PC audio sounds the internal sound card works fine. If you want to use it for DJ work or recording, a separate sound device designed for that application is better.
