Sound going up and down when watching a movie!

    Sound going up and down when watching a movie!


    Hi there, My computer speakers sound are going up and down in volume when watching a movie, I have the latest Realtek updates and my motherboard is a GA-G31M-S2L, I've tried reinstalling and everything else everyone mentioned, but it still acts up what can i do to fix this problem? Oh and what i mean is that the sound volume goes up and down in sound can anyone help me, thanks, sonic x!
    My system specs are this!
    Intel Pentium E2220 @2.40GHZ, GeForce 9500 Store bought overclocked graphics card, I also have an onboard soundcard! anything else you want me to mention let me know, thanks, sonic x!

    I'm no expert but I have one possible explanation, check your Sound equalizer by go onto your control panel -> hardware and sound -> manage audio devices -> right click what speakers your using and go to properties, check your enhancement tab you 'possibly' have the "Loudness Equalization" checked.

    The trick didn't work still had the same problems

    Which software are you using to watch movies with? Could it have some sort of volume auto-leveling feature turned on?

    Go to realteks website and get the latest driver.

    Explain please exactly what you mean by "watching a movie"? A DVD disc?

    yes a movie, i watched one with my little bro and it went up and down in volume, i tried another dvd did the same thing, but the interesting thing is, is that when i use my headphones, it doesn't do the changing volume trick?

    maybe it's your speakers????
    play a video on youtube or somewhere and see if it does the same.
