windows 7 is not seeing my audio card and when i place the cd rom in, i don't get options for the sound card drivers. still evan better is when i go to asus and download there drivers driect i get an issuse with them installing and i get an error that they are not for the os: WNT_6.IP_64_MCE
ps they are from the win7 64 list of drivers
any suggestion please.
ps. i had no trouble using this on the evaluation edition of windows 7
1) You tried to disable your onboard soundcard (if available) in BIOS?Download Driver Mirror:
2) Try to deplug your soundcard, blow into the slots to get the dust out of it. And finnaley plug it back again.
3) Still not working? Try another PCI port? Make sure its good connected.
4) Try the driver I added the link at the bottom of this message.
5) The latest option is to reinstall Windows... (deinstall all current drivers of this sound-card)
6) Soundcard is broken, however that will be very unlikely.
"There are no supported audio device available. You need to close the application. Click OK to close the application now."
I've got a Sound Blaster X-Fi 5.1 Surround and that bug is driving me nuts; tried EVERY SINGLE solution provided here but alas, to no avail!
Ideas?
Nevermind, installing Pax Drivers did the trick... problem solved ^^
Do you have a set of 5.1 speakers connected?
If Im not mistaken, the options for 2,4,5,and 7.1 only appear if you do.
This may be why its not allowing it to be changed.
If this is the ASUS X-Fi that came with the board, it may also be slightly different. Im not sure, although it should be the same.
Oh, and English please. :)
I have a redundant system is Logitech Z-5500 DIGITAL, I hooked it through the optics Spdf into your sound card ...
Tested on the redundant system Win xn - all without a problem as you and writing appears different connection, up to 7.1 ....
And then only 2/2.1 and all, and even choose not ... But you saw the picture ....
Why not see the connection 5.1?
