SBLAST X-FI Champ Recording features unavailable!?

Ok so I have Creative SoundBlaster X-FI Platinum Fatal1ty Champion Edition whatever the hell you name it. Everything in the playback side is working fine. I have Bass Management and Cutoff enabled, Crystalizer works but on the recording side, nothing seems to be working. Except for the Line In 2 for some reason. I can't even use my Microphone. Now I know Creative is known to do **** like that for marketing purposes but I want to double check its not just my machine being stupid. Here's a SS:

Any idea how to get this issue resolved?

right click the device you want and enable it. It should then enable and you can set it as default. Your line-in2/mic2 is currently being used as default, making the others "unavailable"....

This options screen doesn't really make much logical sense.

They're all enabled man. That particular model of X-Fi lets you run up to 5 channels of audio at one time. Meaning I usually have my Line-in 2/Mic 2, Microphone and Auxiliary all running at the same time with no problems. It's always been like that, I do not understand why all of a sudden all that **** is unavailable now.

I have my XBOX360 connected to Auxiliary 2 and my MP3 player to Line-In 2 and my Microphone is usually on Microphone. I can't even get my Microphone to work even if I set it as default.

    Can somebody please help?

I appreciate you looking, this stuff is old and before the new Windows 7 supported drivers came out. I did a system restore before I installed my new webcam and the microphone seems to be working. I cannot play with the Windows Volume Control panel but the Stand-Alone Creative Audio Console Launcher seems to do the trick for mixing all channels.

Anybody aware of a good webcam that DOES NOT come with a mic that's Windows 7 supported?
