    Speakers + Sound Card + Multimedia Keyboard


    When I installed my new computer, I connected my speakers to the onboard audio. Bit of a newbie... So I just connected to them to the sound card output (I'm assuming the quality should be a touch better), and I noticed that I no longer have control over the audio via my multimedia keyboard. Is this normal? I kind of enjoyed the quick volume access from the keyboard... Thank you!

    OK, this issue seems to have resolved itself. Might have had to do with the wrong default playback device being set (right click on the sound icon in the tray).
