Windows 7: headphones help

headphones help

under the playback devices, it is missing a headphones icon, therefore I can not connect my headphone to my toshiba laptop. please help on how to get back the
headphones icon. Thank you.
even after i right click and select Show Hidden Devices and Show Disconnected Devices. and check on the sounds,video and game controller
and this is how it looks like, the headphones option is missing
it worked before i plug in the headphones, and i somehow i removed is there a way to download it back?

1. I have a toshiba window 7,
2. when i plug in the headphone, i have to wiggle a little then the sound would come through, but after a while it stop.
3. yes there was some changes to the laptop, i deleted the headphones program.
4. I checked the updates for windows 7

5. I also download realtek hd audio, but still no icon come up

Welcome to SF. Sounds like the headphone connector is going bad or needs to be cleaned. Get a small bit of Caigs Gold and use a very small amount to clean.

Hey there, just looking for the best headphones for listening to music for under 70 that can be picked up on the high street. Good sound is a must (Obviously) good solid base would be great and noise cancelling would be a big bonus! Cheers.

Hello, In my computer i had plugged in two headphones. One is for my brother, and one is for me. So sometimes we used to hear speeches,music etc... at same time. But sometimes i could feel to play football games. And its sounds will be disturbance for him. So any solution for this?

when i plug my headphones into the green mini jack at the front panel of my pc there is no sound coming out of them. i have tried all possible combinations and settings in my Realtek Audio Manager but to no avail. when i had windows xp this was not a problem. any help is appreciated.
