    Hi,

I'm looking to know if there is anyway to save a sound recordering in Win7 Sound Recorder? Right now all I see for a option is Windows media Audio type.

Click the Start Recording button. This starts the recording from your input. When finished, click Stop Recording. This will automatically open a Save As dialog window.

Edit: Ops, sorry. I mis-read your question. The Sound Recorder will only save .wma files. You can convert the file using a number of FREE programs. I happen to use Freemake Audio Converter if all I'm doing is converting. It has a cartoony user interface but works great.
