How do I change the default volume pop up for windows 7?

Whenever i change the volume on my computer via keyboard shortcuts, etc., an icon with volume bars and a speaker pops up. This notification theme is very ugly, and i wish to change it. Is it possibly to get skins for this, or can i get a completely new volume notification system. I have found one new volume popup system called "3RVX", this works, but when i change the volume, both notifications pop up. How would i remove the default one?

    Hi, welcome to seven forums.
You could remove the default volume icon from the notification area.
Right click a blank space in the notification area and click properties.
    Then turn off volume.

That is from a third-party application...which one I don't know but it is not part of Windows 7.

...What ever application is doing the bottom popup....I don't know I don't have that application...
But whatever is doing it probably one of the OEM programs that came with the computer.
It is not part of Windows 7.

Of course...probably appears with all the other applications in Programs and Features in the control panel.
